About the Journal

IGNITE: Initiatives for Grassroots Networks, Innovation & Transformative Economy is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality community service (pengabdian kepada masyarakat) articles that demonstrate real-world impact and practical solutions for societal development.

True to its name, IGNITE represents the act of “sparking change”—transforming community service activities into structured, impactful, and replicable knowledge. The journal emphasizes not only outcomes, but also the process of community engagement, implementation strategies, and measurable transformation within real community settings.

IGNITE focuses on documenting and disseminating field-based community empowerment activities, including training, mentoring, facilitation, technology transfer, and collaborative development programs conducted directly with community partners.

The journal prioritizes articles that clearly describe:

  • Community partners or beneficiaries involved
  • Implementation process (what was done, how it was done)
  • Methods of intervention or empowerment
  • Measurable impact (economic, social, or environmental)
  • Sustainability and scalability of the program
